September 2^nd through September 4^th Crandon, WI will be hosting the Crandon Raceway Show featuring Traxxas TORC Series racing and the NRA will be in attendance growing NRA Membership by renewing existing memberships and signing up new members! Outgoing people are encouraged to inquire about this exciting opportunity to volunteer in a unique, fun environment while growing our NRA! Admission will be free for those who volunteer and each volunteer will receive a NRA gift such as a hat or t-shirt! Come out to the races and support your NRA!

Volunteers Needed for Alabama World Deer Expo

July 15^th through July 17^th Birmingham, AL will be hosting the 28^th Annual World Deer Expo; the NRA will be in attendance recruiting new, and renewing existing, members. Outgoing people are encouraged to inquire about this exciting opportunity to volunteer in a fun environment while fighting for a cause. The event starts on Friday, the 15^th and goes from 5pm to 10pm; continues on Saturday, the 16^th from 10am to 9pm; and ends on Sunday, the 17^th with hours of 10am to 6pm. Attendance to the show will be free and each volunteer will receive an exclusive NRA T-shirt.

Volunteers Needed July 2, 2011

On Saturday, July 2, patriots will gather at Ritchie Lake Pavilion in Bealton, VA for the second annual Independence Day celebration. “An American Event” will feature big name speakers and fun for the whole family. The NRA will be there signing up members. If you could spare a few hours on July 2 to come out and help, it would be greatly appreciated. The event runs from 2:30PM to 9:30PM

Rolling Thunder Volunteers Needed

It’s that time again, folks. From May 28-30, downtown DC will be abuzz with the sound of thousands of motorcycles for the Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally. The NRA will be there signing up members. We need your help!

If you can spare a few hours of your time on Saturday, Sunday or Monday to help as many bikers as possible join the NRA, shoot me an email. It’s a great opportunity to interact with thousands of great members and make sure no one leaves the rally without an opportunity to join the NRA!

Camp Perry Volunteer Orientation UPDATE

VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION AT CAMP PERRY (NRA NATIONAL MATCHES):

Volunteer orientation is mandatory for all volunteers, regardless of your service year. At orientation you will be introduced to the Match Director and supporting staff, as well as notified of new procedure changes. Roll call will also be taken for each workstation, if you fail to show up for orientation, you will be counted absent for the day and forfeit your daily per diem. Please make every effort to attend. If you cannot attend orientation for any reason, please alert the Camp Perry Volunteer office immediately.

You will meet with your supervisor and commence training immediatly following orientation.

• Pistol - July 11 - 8:00 am - Building 950

• Smallbore - July 20 - 8:00 am - TBD

• Highpower - July 30 - 8:00 am - Building 950

Volunteers Needed - Chantilly, VA

On April 15^th, 16^th and 17^th, The Nation’s Gun Show will be at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA. As usual, the NRA will be there adding members to the ranks.

Due to the large volume of people at the show, we need a few volunteers to help us get through the weekend. Come out for a few hours and see what it takes to keep the NRA stocked with great members. This is also a good chance to see the 1,000 tables of the Nation’s Gun Show!

NRA Annual Meeting April 29 - May 1

Hello from NRA HQ!

We still have a need for volunteers to help at this year’s NRA Annual Meeting (April 29 – May 1).

If you can spare a half-day or more while attending the Pittsburgh Annual Meeting, you can assist the NRA staff in making this year's Annual Meeting our best yet! You will find that to participate in the Annual Meeting as a volunteer is one of the most satisfying and enjoyable activities you will ever experience as an NRA

member.

Volunteers are needed in a wide variety of activities including the NRA Store, Membership Services, the Airgun Range, Firearms Inspectors and many others. The store requires lots of manpower; especially needed are volunteers who have cashier experience. Membership Services is a busy place as many members renew or upgrade their memberships. And we will need many NRA-certified instructors to assist young people at the Airgun range. There are other jobs, too, and we can usually find one that you will enjoy.
